Awarding scholarships to women studying healthcare management in Connecticut has been a long tradition of CWHCM, Inc. the purpose of the Scholarship Committee is to annually award a one-time grant to deserving women undergraduate or graduate students who demonstrate a commitment to a career in healthcare management.

Scholarship application information:

• The application covers transcripts, recommendations, employment history, extra-curricular activities and community activities and one essay.
• Completed applications are submitted in the spring with the decision made in late spring.
• A single grant is generally awarded with the option for additional grants.

CWHCM is currently accepting applications for the 2008 Scholarship Award. All application materials must be received on or before April 25, 2008. The Committee will review these materials and make a selection decision by May 23, 2008. Once the selection process has been completed all applicants will be notified in writing.

The award recipient will also receive a sponsored invitation to the CWHCM Fall meeting to be recognized. The CWHCM Scholarship Committee is solely responsible for the selection of award recipients. Their decision is final and is not subject to review by any other person or entity.
